Yesterday my brother and I re-planted 100 plants to give away at the Webster-Back-To School Block Party.                                                                                                                                                                 

Adopt-A-Road Clean-Up Event

 

On Saturday, September 25th we are going to have a Adopt-A-Road clean-up event from 9 to 10 a.m.

West Augustine Nature Society Sign Hit by Car

Last night a something bad happened to the West Augustine Nature Society.

One of our Adopt-A-Road signs that the county recently put up was hit by a car. We were so excited, when the signs came up, and already one of them has been knocked down.

Cleaning Up Trash Bags Full of Clothes From Our Ditches - Please Donate Your Clothes To Thrift Stores

For weeks, there have been these several trash bags left within the ditches on our street. They have not only polluted the environment, but they have also left a lasting impression to others, what our community is like without any words spoken. Because of this, we took action, today we pulled up these trash bags from the muddy ditch when there wasn't as much water within it. Even without an event scheduled, we took action as individuals. 

Thank You to the St Johns County Waste Department - Report Illegal Dumping

Last week the county came and cleaned up a lot of the trash that had been dumped in our local wetlands, so we would like to thank the St. Johns County Waste Department for cleaning up garbage that has been illegally dumped into our local wetlands and ditches here in West Augustine.

Thank You For Helping at the Earth Day, Every Day Clean-Up Event at the Old Elementary School - 68 Bags of Trash Collected

We would like to thank everybody who showed up at the Earth Day, Every Day Event on Sunday.

 

Because of all your help we were able to bag up about 68 bags of garbage, which meas that we've managed to get over 200 bags of garbage off the street this year alone.
