Today, we cleaned Collier Street and The King Street Extension in West Augustine by R.J. Murray Middle School. Despite there being 17 people cleaning the streets for 2 hours, we only got halfway down the extension, because of the enormous amount of trash.

Walking to school is good for nature and it is good for your health, but not if you have to sit with wet feet all day. Together our voices are stronger.

The North Florida Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) has a survey out for all residents of St. John's County, who are interested in communicating with the county to address public transportation and general transportation issues.
We encourage everyone in West Augustine to take this survey, as it is a great way to get some attention to the issues we all care about around here. This survey closes February 14, 2021.
Today we were off from school, because it was teacher planning day. We figured that we should do something helpful with our day off, so we started the day by cleaning up a couple of big trash piles in our neighborhood.
We would like to thank everybody who showed up at the MLK Clean-Up event yesterday, because of all of your help, the event was a great success. A special thank you to the Interact Club at St. Augustine High, the Coquina Community Church, local community members, as well as students from Creekside, Bartram, St. Joseph’s Academy, and The Paxon School for Advanced Studies in Jacksonville, and also a big shout out to the West Augustine C.R.A. for sharing our flyer.
