Earth Day Recycling Event In St. Augustine On April 23rd - Get Rid of Your Old Electronics

 



On Friday, April 23, the city of St. Augustine is going to be hosting a free recycle event at the Solid Waste Facility located at 601 Riberia Street, St Augustine, Florida

 From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To celebrate Earth Day, the city of St. Augustine is offering an opportunity to recycle broken 
electronics, shred documents, and dispose of used cooking oil. 

TV's, hazardous waste, and motor oil will not be accepted.

According to Glabra Skipp, the Environmental Program Coordinator, “As a community, it is so important to take steps together to ‘restore our Earth', and as a coastal community, we have even more responsibility to keep our local ecosystem thriving, and this can be accomplished by properly recycling waste, as well as doing what we can to maintain the City’s wastewater system.”
