Clean-Up Event with the Key Club at R.J. Murray Middle School

Today, we cleaned Collier Street and The King Street Extension in West Augustine by R.J. Murray Middle School. Despite there being 17 people cleaning the streets for 2 hours, we only got halfway down the extension, because of the enormous amount of trash.

St. Augustine High School Key Club sponsor Ms. Mousley and Key Club president Anderson Davis hard at work collecting garbage in West Augustine, FL.

We found pockets full of recycling and garbage in-between the brambles and palmetto palms. We had some seriously brave and fearless volunteers with us today.

Our tireless West Augustine Nature Society Volunteer Elizabeth came out to green up the streets with her 3 year old son.

We managed to collect 40+ trash bags and a satellite dish.

We want to thank all the volunteers from the Key Club at St. Augustine High School, the Interact Club from St. Augustine High School, the team from RESET St. Augustine, and our local community members who all helped make West Augustine a little cleaner and greener today.
